This was a  re-commitment or "Worming Ceremony"of my two friends,

Worming is an old nautical term  for the splicing of two lines so that  will run as one thru the block and tackle of a sailing ship.

If all  ceremony's of this sort  showed this much care, love and passion, 

 I might do wedding (nights)
